Motorola Edge 70 Fusion hands-on

Motorola unveiled the Edge 70 Fusion at the MWC and simultaneously with that it launched an identically-named but different phone in India. And as it turned out after the fact, Moto will be selling both versions in Europe.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion (5,200mAh)

We got to handle the slimmer variant. That phone measures 162.8mm tall and 75.6mm wide, it’s the same for both versions. The difference comes in the thickness – 7.21mm for the slim one and 7.99mm for the other one – as well as the weight –.

Scientists have created a new kind of time crystal using sound waves to levitate tiny beads in mid-air. These particles interact in a one-sided, unbalanced way, breaking the usual rules of motion and creating a steady, repeating rhythm. The system is surprisingly simple yet reveals complex physics with big implications. It could help advance quantum computing and deepen our understanding of biological timing systems. Read more ›

I asked 9 neuropsychologists what they wish every parent understood about children who daydream constantly in class. Not one of them used the word ‘attention’ in their answer.

When children daydream in class, the reflexive assumption is an attention problem. But clinicians and neuroscience research point to something more nuanced: a brain doing different work, not deficient work. Read more ›
