Vibrations from F1 car raise fears of driver nerve damage

If you’re driving in an F1 race and hitting speeds of 220 mph (354 kph), you really don’t want parts of the car falling off as you hurtle along, or, more importantly, to suffer nerve damage because of a problem with your vehicle. But that’s exactly what’s happening with Aston Martin’s car, leaving drivers Fernando ... Read more ›

What's old is new: the command line — the original, clunky non-graphical interface for interacting with and controlling PCs, where the user just typed in raw commands in code — has become one of the most important interfaces in agentic AI.That shift has been driven in part by the rise of coding-native tools such as Claude Code and Kilo CLI, which have helped establish a model where AI agents do... Anthropic Steals the Limelight at Morgan Stanley’s Tech Conference

I’ve spent the last week talking to people who are in town for Morgan Stanley’s annual technology, media and telecom conference at the Palace Hotel this week. OpenAI’s Shopping Glitch

This wasn’t a fun day on Wall Street—the S&P 500 fell 0.5%—but one group of stocks bucked the downward trend. That would be those of several travel-booking and food-delivery firms, such as DoorDash, Booking Holdings and Expedia, which climbed between 3% and 13%. One likely reason is OpenAI’s astounding retreat from offering shopping directly in ChatGPT. While it wasn’t a travel-booking or food-delivery service, investors had clearly been worried it... HMD launched a new model called Luma – no, not “Lumia”, though that might have been cool. This appears to be similar to the HMD Vibe, though with a lower-end chipset. The HMD Luma is powered by the Unisoc T615, a 12nm chip with Cortex-A75 and A55 cores, which are pretty old at this point. The phone is configured with 4GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage – there... Read more ›
