Research suggests people who shower at night instead of in the morning aren’t just washing off the day — they’re running a neurological closing ritual that signals the nervous system the threat window has ended, and the water isn’t cleaning the body, it’s decommissioning a surveillance state that’s been active since they opened their eyes

For a long time I assumed my morning shower was the important one. That’s where the logic seemed to live. Start the day clean, alert, ready. The night shower was just maintenance. Getting the gym off you before bed. Then I started paying attention to what actually happened during those few minutes under hot water ... Read more Read more

Here's how the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will improve its connectivity

Samsung is widely expected to launch the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 this year, to mark its predecessor's two-year anniversary. The most likely scenario is it being unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 was recently rumored to employ the just-announced Snapdragon Wear Elite SoC, which would differentiate the Ultra further from the Galaxy Watch9 it's supposedly launching with (as that model would... vivo patents vertically rollable smartphone

Rollable smartphone concepts have come and gone in the past few years, but we've yet to see an actual product using a rollable display (there are, however, rollable-screen laptops already). While the rollable smartphone concepts we've seen thus far have all rolled the screen out of the side, vivo has patented something else entirely - a rollable screen that becomes longer, not wider. Instagram is removing end-to-end encryption

In a very definitive case of 'not something that happens very often', Instagram has decided to remove end-to-end encryption (E2EE).
