IEEE Spectrum argues that orbital data centers remain far from economically or technically practical despite Elon Musk's prediction that space will become the cheapest place to run AI within a few years. Oppo Reno16 and 16 Pro arrive globally with specs changes

Exactly one month after they were announced in China, Oppo’s Reno16 and Reno16 Pro are now making their way to the global markets, but not without some changes. The major one is the choice of chipsets, where the global Reno16 Pro is bumped down to a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super, compared to the Chinese version’s Dimensity 9500s. The vanilla Reno16 gets a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 under the hood. The... Read more

Oppo Reno16 Pro in for review

It's time for the international release of Oppo's Reno16 series, and we've got the Reno16 Pro for unboxing. Oppo unveils its first semi-in-ear buds, the Enco Air5s, and the more traditional Enco Air5

Oppo is launching the Enco Air5s, its first “semi-in-ear” buds. This means that the in-ear part of them is plastic without a rubber ear tip. This design makes for more comfortable wearing experience (and it helps that the buds are lighter too), but it doesn’t seal the ear canal fully. If you prefer the more traditional design, there is the new Oppo Enco Air5 (no “s”). The Air5s are some... Read more

Amazon UK Prime Day deals: get an Apple iPhone Air at 28% off

The Apple iPhone Air is a very Apple product, if that makes sense – the phone sacrifices a lot to hit its design target of 5.6mm thickness and 165g weight. At 165g, the Air weighs more like a 6.3”... Read more

Amazon UK Prime Day deals: two 6.3" flagships, the Galaxy S26 and Xiaomi 17, are on sale

Over time, small-screened flagships settled on a 6.3” size display. The Samsung Galaxy S26 is the safe choice – it has sold millions and the very, very similar S22 through S25 models have as... Read more

Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy S27 surfaced in the GSM Association’s IMEI database, with the model number SM-S925U. Today, its siblings have shown up over there as well.
