A new report from WABetaInfo, however, suggests that WhatsApp is almost ready to release a redesigned in-chat interface. Interestingly, the changes aren't available even to beta users, but WABetaInfo managed to activat

meta-attention is all you need

Read more

Apple's sleep apnea notifications and hearing test features are now available in India

Apple has announced the expansion of sleep apnea notifications and hearing test features to India. Sleep apnea is a condition in which a person's breathing momentarily stops during sleep, preventing the body from getting enough oxygen. If left untreated, it can lead to health consequences over time, including increased risk of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and cardiac issues. Apple Watch helps its users detect signs of sleep apnea. It's done... Read more

Read more

Google reveals why it's offering only 5GB free storage instead of 15GB with some new Gmail accounts

We recently saw reports from users claiming that Google is offering only 5GB of free storage with a new Gmail account, instead of 15GB, but if they added their phone number to the new account, Google would "unlock" 15GB storage at no cost. Google has revealed the reason behind that. In a statement to Android Authority, a Google spokesperson said the company is testing this change to help it continue... Read more

Weekly deals: the Galaxy S26 series is on sale, Motorola Razr 2026 series goes on pre-order

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ (256GB) is currently $890 on Amazon – that’s a bit lower than we’ve seen it at for the past few weeks and $200+ off on a phone that’s less than three months old is a solid discount. That said, the 2026 model doesn’t bring many updates over its predecessor – there’s the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the slightly faster wireless charging (20W vs. 15W,... Read more

This is a rather interesting development for sure, but for whatever reason, Samsung has already shipped an update containing Android’s May security patches to the Galaxy A55 and is now doing the same for the Galaxy A54. Meanwhile, this author’s personal Galaxy S26 Ultra is still running patches from April 5 as of writing this article. We snooped around in the changelog for the update just out of curiosity. Google’s new Gemini Intelligence will only be available on a handful of the best current Android flagships for now

A few days ago, Google announced Gemini Intelligence, which seems to be more than just a rebranding effort. There is even a “Rambler” component coming to Gboard... Read more

Weekly poll results: the Motorola Razr 70 / 2026 series is overpriced, needs more updates

Last week, we asked you to vote on the topic of Motorola’s new flip foldables – the Razr 70 series or, as they are known in the US, the Razr 2026 series. While there are three models involved, we can come to only one conclusion. And that conclusion is that the new flip foldables are too expensive – each of the three (vanilla, plus and Ultra) has its fans, however,... Read more

Weekly poll: the Sony Xperia 1 VIII is here, are you getting one?

The Sony Xperia 1 VIII feels like it’s from a different timeline – one where smartphone makers didn’t remove the microSD slot and the 3.5mm headphone jack, where they didn’t adopt punch-hole displays... or big, fast-charging batteries. We’re not going to sugarcoat it, the Mark 8 flagship has a hefty starting price of €1,500 / £1,400 and the inclusion of a free pair of the excellent WH-1000XM6 doesn’t quite make... Read more

Honor MagicBook Pro 14 (2026) review

Introduction Today, we've got the latest in an ever-growing lineup of Honor laptops. This is the Pro model for 2026, and as such, it's pretty cutting-edge, which isn't surprising coming from Honor. It was among the first makers to move to OLED, and it has always used innovative 3:2 screens with high refresh rates. The specs overview is pretty impressive, too. Google Password Manager on Android appears to be getting passkey import and export support

Passkeys are pretty great. The tech is solid, based on well-established, secure cryptographic principles, and the ease of use is through the roof compared to remembering traditional passwords. In case you are not in the know, the passkey paradigm has you generating a secure private key that you keep locally on your device and a corresponding public key that you give out to websites/services/apps you want to log into. Once... Read more
