Could Your Future Car Watch You And Stop You From Driving?

The idea sounds like science fiction, but it is now part of a very real policy debate: should future cars be able to detect when a driver may be impaired and stop that person from driving? It sounds like a good safety feature, but that is the uncomfortable question behind the latest update from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (PDF link). Congress had directed regulators to create a rule... Read more

700 °C —. Read more

With Orbitals, 80s anime, a legendary Gundam director and It Takes Two talent combine for a potential co-op smash hit

From Akira Toriyama lending his spikey-haired designs to Chrono Trigger, to Hayao Miyazaki's enduring influence on Final Fantasy's airships, anime and video games have always been intrinsically linked. After three years of rumours, we've officially seen "ground-up remake" Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced in action, but what's going on with its modern-day bits?

Yes, it’s finally happened.
