Things are not looking bright for the OnePlus India branch. After rumors of a potential shutdown, which were quickly refuted by the CEO Robin Liu himself, now The Economic Times reports that he's stepping down from his role.
According to OnePlus' official statement, Robin Liu is quitting to pursue personal passions and projects. The Economic Times adds that he's likely moving back to China, too. He was appointed as CEO of OnePlus India in 2024 after being with the company since 2018.
