MediaTek is holding a launch event in China on January 15, and is expected to unveil two new chipsets on that occasion. Rumor has it will we finally see the much-anticipated Dimensity 8500 at this event, the successor to the 8450 and 8400, both highly regarded upper-midrange chipsets.
