vivo just unveiled the Y500 Pro, and it's somewhat of a non-straightforward upgrade over its predecessor. Let's start with the good.
The phone is a bit faster thanks to a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, which is basically the same SoC as the 7300 inside the Y400 Pro but with a 100MHz faster clock. The RAM is either the same 8 gigs or a larger 12GB, which the old phone lacks.
On a less positive note, the vivo Y500 Pro downgrades the UFS 3.1 of its predecessor to UFS 2.2.
