Apple to Launch New Products Starting Next Week, Claims Dubious Leak

Apple will announce new products through a series of weekly press releases beginning as soon as Monday, according to a dubious claim posted on the Korean blog Naver.

The Naver blog account yeux1122, which aggregates rather than originates Apple rumors, suggests the company will reveal M5 chip products each week via updates to its website, rather than holding an October event.

The claim lists a 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip, M5 iPad Pro, and M5 Vision Pro as incoming releases.

The FCC is trying to make it easier for internet providers to charge hidden fees

The FCC has submitted a proposal that would make it harder for consumers to receive itemized bills with accurate information from their ISPs, as spotted by The Verge. The draft would revise previous "unnecessary" requirements on the grounds that a fact-based list of charges "may confuse customers." This comes as a response to complaints by ISPs over a Biden-era transparency rule that went into effect back in 2024. Compliance with... Read more

Your iPhone Can Ask Why Someone's Calling Before You Pick Up

Spam calls have become such a nuisance that many people simply don't answer their phone unless they recognize the number.
