NBA Commissioner’s Viral Comment Sparks a Sports Highlights Debate

Late last week, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver inadvertently went viral on social media with a passing comment that quickly got under the skin of basketball fans. When asked during a press conference about how expensive being an NBA fan has become—mainly due to fragmented TV broadcasts and streaming price hikes—part of Silver’s response was that there are many free ways to watch, including via Instagram and TikTok.

“This is very much a highlights-based sport,” he said.

Swift came the backlash from keyboard.

Yooka-Replaylee brings big improvements to the retro throwback, but loses some of its old-school charm along the way

How Amazon Product Listings Are Evolving as AI Changes Search

When ecommerce consultant David Khandrius had to help a client who sold baby strollers write a product listing for Amazon’s website in the past, he typically tried to jam as many words into the listing as possible to ensure Amazon’s search algorithm would capture it. That might result in a convoluted title for a listing, like “travel stroller for beach park super compact airplane overhead.” Nowadays, though, he said, the... Read more
