The vivo X300 series will record better cinematic portrait video than the new iPhones

The vivo X300 was spotted running Geekbench earlier today, letting the Dimensity 9500 stretch its legs. The new chip will be announced on September 22, one day ahead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. But it won’t be the only notable chip inside the X300 phones – vivo will also integrate its in-house V3+ imaging chip.

This chip will allow the vivo X300 phones to record cinematic portrait video at 4K 60fps. This will be a “first for both Android and Apple phones,” says Han Boxiao. The latest iPhone 17 serie
