Huawei improved the connectivity in the Freebuds 6, and here they come with 2.3 Mbp

Nvidia is using its powerful balance sheet to help more companies buy its expensive AI chips, and possibly make some money back too. Read more ›

Samsung and Alcedis are forming a partnership to bridge together health data from wearable devices and clinical research. Of course, Samsung will provide the health data. At the same time, Alcedis, as a digital-first clinical research organization, will collect, analyze and translate biometrics data into meaningful evidence that can later be used for pharmaceutical or other clinical research. It does make sense, to some extent, since wearable devices are widespread... Read more ›

Exactly one month after they were announced in China, Oppo’s Reno16 and Reno16 Pro are now making their way to the global markets, but not without some changes. The major one is the choice of chipsets, where the global Reno16 Pro is bumped down to a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super, compared to the Chinese version’s Dimensity 9500s. The vanilla Reno16 gets a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 under the hood. The... Read more ›

Say hi to the Galaxy A27 5G. It's very much a modest update over the Galaxy A26 that mainly focuses on the design with a slight performance boost on the inside. Upfront, the Galaxy A27 is technically identical to its predecessor with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. What's different is the way the selfie camera is integrated - gone is the teardrop notch, replaced with a... Read more ›

It's time for the international release of Oppo's Reno16 series, and we've got the Reno16 Pro for unboxing. The global Reno16 Pro is closer to the Chinese Reno16 than to the Chinese Pro, which means it's a 6.32-inch phone, and not a 6.78-inch one. The global Reno16 Pro is also close to its global counterpart, the Reno16. It's easier to name their differences than their similarities. The Reno16 Pro has... Read more ›

Oppo is launching the Enco Air5s, its first “semi-in-ear” buds. This means that the in-ear part of them is plastic without a rubber ear tip. This design makes for more comfortable wearing experience (and it helps that the buds are lighter too), but it doesn’t seal the ear canal fully. If you prefer the more traditional design, there is the new Oppo Enco Air5 (no “s”). The Air5s are some... Read more ›
