X-COM's original creator keen on a return to the series, if Firaxis was ever to ask him

Julian Gollop, creator of the original X-COM game - known as UFO: Enemy Unknown here in the UK, and followed up by Firaxis' XCOM: Enemy Unknown later on - has told Eurogamer that he would be quite happy to return to the series in some form. Elon Musk’s first month of destroying America will cost us decades

Let’s pause and look at what the Elon Musk administration has done so far. Trump’s job cuts at this overlooked agency put every American at risk

President Donald Trump says he wants the US to have the cleanest air and water on the planet — a desire, unsurprisingly, shared by all Americans.    Those resources don’t just appear. Obsidian's modest ambition with Avowed is just what Game Pass, Xbox, and the wider industry needs - but will Microsoft let them stick to it?

I'm having a lovely time in Avowed, a game about bonking little lizard men on the head, skipping through classic, florid fantasy countryside, and walking up to NPCs to receive vast dumps of expository dialogue. It's a game that's less interested in doing something radical with the structure - this is a pretty straight-ahead, sword-n-spells, skill-and-dialogue-tree action adventure - than it is the sheer vividity of its delivery.
