Software company Take-Two Interactive Software said it plans to acquire Playdots, a mobile developer, for a sum of $192 million through a cash and stock option. Mobile ad placements and consumer app spending up because of coronavirus

Mobile advertising placements on a major network jumped 70% during the pandemic led by interstitial ads and in spite of ad budget reductions. Facebook and Snap considered buying TikTok rival Dubsmash

Facebook has emerged as the most popular advertising platform for small and medium-sized businesses in the US, according to research by Borrell Associates.
