Fitness app FitOn raises $40 million and acquires Peerfit

Wellness app FitOn just raised $40 million in a Series C funding round led by Delta-v Capital. At the same time, FitOn acquired corporate wellness platform Peerfit for an undisclosed sum aftering hitting 10 million users in 2021. Mobile gamers spent $7.4 billion across top titles in January 2022

Twitter adds 6 million new users in Q4 2021

Money-treasure mobile games and historical settings bring in higher revenues

Rise in number of apps adding “metaverse” to their description

Some 86 mobile apps recently added “metaverse” to their description or branding on the App Store and Google Play in light of Facebook’s rebrand to Meta.
