Pinterest added two million monthly active users in Q1 2022.  However, usage has come down from peak performance during the pandemic when the platform saw a surge in users and eCommerce interest.  As more people were locked up at home, the app saw users climb to 478 million. An estimated 3,000 apps could be pulled from the App Store in a sweep to remove apps that are no longer being updated by developers. App usage grew 36% over the last two years

App growth in the UK peaked at 52% in January 2021 compared to other countries.  That’s according to new research from Amplitude which shows that overall app usage jumped 36% between the start of 2020 and the end of 2021 while website usage grew 57%.
