Samsung's Galaxy A36 has been doing the rounds recently in various certifications and listings. The phone's launch is clearly nearing, and it's now been certified by the FCC as well.
The process has confirmed its support for 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi. It will support a 25W wired charging speed according to the FCC. That clashes with another certification from last month, which revealed support for 45W charging.

Samsung has traditionally released Enterprise Editions of its Galaxy S flagships a bit later than the regular models, and that’s the case this year. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra Enterprise Editions are now available for pre-order across Europe, and they bring the same perks as before – namely, a one-year subscription to the Samsung Knox suite, three years of enhanced business support and the same seven years of software... The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's Gorilla Armor 2 glass seems to scratch easier than the Galaxy S24 Ultra's original Gorilla Armor, but glass that scratches easier can generally withstand shocks better - it's always a case of optimizing for one or the other. So, with that in mind, does the Gorilla Armor 2 in the S25 Ultra protect it from shocks? Specifically, drops. That's what the video below aims to... Read more ›

Samsung is the king of the smartphone stylus - not only does it have the most models that support one, but the S Pen is deeply integrated into its Galaxies. And it's nowhere better than in the Galaxy S Ultra flagships. That's because the Galaxy S22 Ultra was the spiritual successor to the last Galaxy Note, essentially merging the Note and S Ultra lineups together. But Samsung removed the Bluetooth... Read more ›

The S Pen was first introduced in 2011 with the original Galaxy Note – this original design was a passive device that relied on a Wacom layer in the Note device itself to track its position and, later on, things like pressure too. Then in 2018 the Galaxy Note9 added a battery and Bluetooth connectivity to the S Pen, allowing it to trigger actions remotely. In the camera, for example,... Read more ›

Yes, you can find small phones with better camera systems - Xiaomi's 15 and vivo's X200 Pro mini come to mind - but those aren't as readily available and we'd argue that they won't be to everyone's liking. After years of dominating the smartphone market, Samsung feels comfortable to users, an advantage it shares only with the... Read more ›
