AppleCare+  becomes subscription-only, prepaid models are no more

AppleCare+ will ditch the fixed-term plan and will move to subscription-only. The report came from Mark Gurman this past weekend, and Apple is already making the decision.

According to a report, third-party retailers are no longer offering the prepaid model, and it remains available only on Apple's website, where we expect it to disappear shortly.



AppleCare is a one-year limited warranty and 90 days of free technical support. It covers hardware defects, failures, or dead pixels, but it does not co

Canalys: Smartphone market grows 7% in 2024, Apple leads
