A new rumor out of China claims that the 'vanilla' Xiaomi 16 will feature a key camera upgrade over its predecessor: a periscope telephoto shooter.

While this will be new to Xiaomi's non-Pro, non-Ultra flagship line, it's quite overdue since both the 'vanilla' vivo X200 and the Oppo Find X8 already have a periscope telephoto camera each, so the Xiaomi 15.
