TikTok's Chief Operating Officer V. Pappas has quit, she told staff on Thursday, according to an email viewed by The Information.
In an email to staff, Pappas said she will continue in an advisory role for the company, noting she feels the "time is right to move on and refocus." Her departure comes amid intense uncertainty about TikTok's future, however, given the threat of a U.S. government ban. For more on Pappas, see this story.
