While many celebrated the potential emissions reductions achieved during a year and a half of life in quarantine, the summer of 2021 alone has seen wildfires raging across the US Pacific Northwest, Turkey, and Greece, and extreme flooding across Germany, China, Uganda, and India, just to name a few. Not to be a debbie downer, but it’s certainly not the time to let ‘hot vax summer’ overshadow ‘hot af climate change summer.’ On July 14th the European Commission published a new set of climate change proposals
