The Samsung Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ are now said to be in testing with a new 50MP main camera using a Sony sensor. This is notable because Samsung makes camera sensors itself, and obviously likes to use them in its own phones. Testing a new sensor this early in the development cycle does not guarantee that it will actually be used, but it's an interesting development nonetheless.
The S27 and S27+ are expected to be using the same 12MP ultrawide camera that is in the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+. On.
