Apple reportedly considering price hikes as memory prices surge

Several smartphone makers have already increased the prices of their devices amid rising RAM and flash storage chip costs. While companies like Apple and Samsung have so far absorbed the higher component costs, a new report claims Apple can no longer avoid the price increases.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, based on an exclusive interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook, the company is expected to raise the prices of some of its products in the near future.
