Cloud design software company Figma is officially transforming its AI design assistant, Figma Make, from a prototyping sandbox into a live, visual software editor that connects natively to production codebases. Announced today, the update allows product managers, designers, and non-technical builders to import an existing Git repository directly into the Figma desktop app, visually edit the application's underlying code via the canvas, and push those changes back to engineering through standard GitHub pull.

Itâs not easy to run an enterprise software company these days. For the nth example of this, read the latest story by my colleague Laura Bratton, who describes how an Atlanta real estate manager replaced Salesforce software with a custom app developed using Replit and Claude Codeâsaving $100,000 a year. Presented by Splunk Agentic AI is making IT and security teams dramatically more efficient. But itâs also removing the apprenticeship that has long produced experienced operators. As organizations automate more of the work once performed by junior analysts and engineers, theyâre confronting a challenge thatâs as much about workforce design as architecture design: how to build the next generation of experts when AI handles the work that once trained them.What... AI portfolios are expanding far faster than the ability to govern them across enterprises. Most organizations run a contested field of platforms, each claiming to be the âprimaryâ AI layer; few could confidently detect a model drifting or failing in production; and the single most-cited barrier to control is the absence of any one owner accountable for AI across the stack. The result is a widening control gap â ambition... Read more âș

Two-thirds of enterprises have hedged their AI model strategy, and the past few weeks of controversy around Anthropicâs Claude Fable 5 model showed why that posture has gone mainstream. On June 12, a U.S. export-control order pulled Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 â the most capable model on the market â offline for every customer, with no warning and no timeline.
