This structural change aims to eliminate unexpected and intrusive sound playbacks, which frequently disrupt users. The “Background Audio Hardening” Initiative Formally designated by Google as “Background Audio Hardening,” this feature targets erratic application behavior. It addresses common user pain points, such as crashed applications unexpectedly resuming.
