TikTok is rolling out an ad-free subscription tier in the UK

TikTok is the latest social media platform to offer a paid ad-free experience. The short-video platform announced a £3.99 subscription service in the UK, which will be available in the coming months for users aged 18 or older. Apart from removing all ads inside the app, TikTok promises its subscription tier will also prevent user data from being used for advertising purposes. Users can still continue to use TikTok for free with personalized ads.
