Back in January, Apple confirmed that Google's Gemini AI models would be powering the next evolution of Apple Intelligence, which is expected to be unveiled this June at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference. This should include a completely revamped Siri, and will hopefully ship in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 in the fall.
Now, Google has also confirmed that this is happening, on stage during the Cloud Next 2026 conference that's currently taking place in Las Vegas. Google Cloud chief Thomas Kurian sai
