Google and Pentagon Discuss Classified AI Deal as Company Rebuilds Military Ties

Google is negotiating an agreement with the Department of Defense that would allow the Pentagon to deploy Google’s Gemini AI models in classified settings, according to two people with direct knowledge of the discussions.

If the two parties come to an agreement, it would expand Google’s connection to the Pentagon as a tech contractor and represent a significant reversal from the company’s past stance on working with the military.

Siri Uses Pill Shape to Hide the Dynamic Island in iOS 27, But iPhone 18 Could Make It a Circle

In iOS 27, Siri now appears as a glowing pill-shaped orb that expands directly from the Dynamic Island, but may give way to a circle on next-generation iPhones. Instead of the glowing light effect that previously traced the edges of the display, a swirling ‌Siri‌ orb expands from the ‌Dynamic Island‌ in ‌iOS 27‌, with the design hiding its true cutouts, just like other ‌Dynamic Island‌ animations. Apple now represents... Read more

Read more

Huawei’s vertical tri-fold emerges in patent

Huawei was the first brand to launch a tri-fold smartphone with its Mate XT Ultimate back in 2024, and it seems it is looking to expand the tri-fold design to the flip-foldable segment. A new patent shared by xleaks7 x PostFast showcases a vertical tri-fold design, which is something we’ve yet to see from any brand in the market. While this is just a mockup of what might eventually make... Read more

Saint HighLoad++ 2026:

Read more

Read more

Software companies and their shareholders have watched the recent growth of Anthropic and OpenAI with unease. How Nasdaq Turned Its Index Into a Listings Weapon

When Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman took the stage at the Economic Club of Washington, D.C, in March, she wasn’t shy about how the company wields its stock indexes to woo business. In an interview with Carlyle Group Chair David Rubenstein, Friedman highlighted Nasdaq’s key distinction from rival exchanges: It also manages the influential Nasdaq-100 index, the benchmark whose rules dictate how roughly $800 billion worth of funds invest. That means... Read more
