Uber's Deal Blitz To Stop a Robotaxi Monopoly

Uber is aggressively partnering with multiple robotaxi companies to avoid a future dominated by Waymo or Tesla. The ride-hailing giant has struck deals with at least a dozen autonomous vehicle players in recent years. Just last week, it announced a $1.25 billion partnership with Rivian, with plans to deploy up to 50,000 driverless vehicles over the next decade. Business Insider reports: Uber announced three new robotaxi partnerships in the past few weeks with Zoox, Wayve-Nissan, and Rivian. In less than hal

People who still look young in their 60s and 70s aren’t fighting aging — they stopped doing the things that accelerate it, and the difference between those two approaches is the difference between swimming against a current and simply getting out of the water

I ran into an old colleague at a café last month. We hadn’t seen each other in about fifteen years. He looked, honestly, almost exactly the same. Same energy, same sharp eyes, same easy posture. Meanwhile, another guy I used to work with, roughly the same age, looks like he’s aged two decades in one. ... Read more Read more

Read more

Donut Lab is on a mission to prove to the world its solid-state battery is real, one independent test at a time. We've seen speed charging tests, extreme heat tests, and not-a-supercapacitor tests.

Read more

Read more

С temperature=1.0. Read more
