Weekly poll results: the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is the fan favorite, while the (4a) takes a step back

Weekly deals: the Galaxy S26 deeply discounted, S26+ and S26 Ultra also get price cuts

This week, Amazon UK is offering vouchers to reduce the prices of the 512GB variants of the three Galaxy S26 phones. But first, here’s an interesting situation – the Google Pixel 10 costs the same as the Galaxy S25. Look closely, though – this is for a 256GB Pixel and only a 128GB Galaxy. Of course, the Galaxy S25 is last year’s model and is powered by the Snapdragon 8... Read more

Weekly poll results: the Galaxy A57 is interesting but pricey, the Galaxy A37 gets shown the door

There may be trouble brewing on the horizon for the Galaxy A57 and A37 – the results from last week’s poll are in and the consensus is that the two phones are overpriced. And that there is some serious competition in the mid-range market. Luckily, Galaxy A phones don’t stay at MSRP for long, so the first issue will correct itself soon enough. If it hasn’t already – we’re seeing... Read more

Google Chrome will get lazy loading for video and audio elements

Lazy loading is not a new concept by far. The idea is simple – defer loading some of the heavier elements of a page until the lighter ones are loaded. That way, the user can start interacting with the content sooner rather than later. Since 2019, Chrome and Chromium-based browsers have had lazy loading for images and iframes. Both types of elements will only start loading once the user scrolls... Read more
