6G Gets an Early Launch Date

Did the promises of 5G ever happen? I don’t know. 5G is fine. It seems mostly mature at this stage and our wireless networks in the US are all pretty good. T-Mobile’s network wins awards, Verizon’s does too, and AT&T’s is right there with both of them. I see “5G UW” all of the time … Continued Read the original post: 6G Gets an Early Launch Date Read more

Psychology says the reason boomers get emotional watching old home movies isn’t the people in them — it’s the background, the furniture nobody saved, the wallpaper nobody photographed, the ordinary details of a life that felt permanent until it wasn’t

While we meticulously document milestones and photograph faces, it's the accidental footage of that avocado phone on the wall and the worn spot on dad's armchair that unlocks a grief we didn't know we were carrying—for spaces that held our lives so completely we never thought to preserve them. Anthropic is issuing a call to action against AI "distillation attacks," after accusing three AI companies of misusing its Claude chatbot. On its website, Anthropic claimed that DeepSeek, Moonshot and MiniMax have been conducting "industrial-scale campaigns…to illicitly extract Claude’s capabilities to improve their own models." That follows a December ruling by a California administrative law judge that forced Tesla to clean up its marketing language or risk a suspension of its sales license. The best webcams for 2026

Whether you’re on back-to-back video meetings, live streaming or just trying to look presentable on a family call, your webcam matters more than most might expect. A dedicated webcam can noticeably improve sharpness, color accuracy and overall reliability. There’s no single “best” webcam for everyone, though. Some models are... Read more
