Trump orders US government to end ties with Anthropic, Pentagon labels AI firm a supply-chain risk

US President Donald Trump ordered a six month phase out of Anthropic products after the Pentagon labeled the AI firm a supply chain risk. The company plans a legal challenge, while OpenAI moves closer to deeper Defence Department deployment agreements.
