I grew up watching my father count change at the gas station and calculate exact grocery totals before reaching the register, and I make six figures now but I still do the math in my head at the checkout because that arithmetic was never about money. It was a father's devotion running through the only channel he trusted: precision, control, and making sure his family never felt the moment the numbers almost didn't work. Read more ›
