"Like new" Ryzen 9 9900X3D Amazon order turns into a shocking CPU bait-and-switch scandal — shopper duped in outrageous Ryzen 9 3900X scam

To save a few bucks, someone ordered a used Ryzen 9 9900X3D worth $530 from Amazon but received a $150 Ryzen 9 3900X instead. The CPU had been replaced inside the box to deceive any inspection and was likely resold to the unlucky buyer, who ended up getting much less valuable silicon than they paid for.
