Apple Fitness+ is now available in Japan

Apple expanded its Fitness+ service to 28 markets last month, including Chile, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Taiwan, and said that Fitness+ would launch in Japan in early 2026. Well, it's not really early 2026, but the service is now available in the East Asian island country.

The Apple Fitness+ subscription costs JPY980/month or JPY7,800/year in Japan. However, new Fitness+ users in Japan will get a free one-month trial, while those purchasing a new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple T
