A new report coming from ETNews' supply chain sources says that Apple is planning to introduce advanced LTPO+ OLED panels with the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models.
In addition to the supposedly more energy-efficient nature of LTPO+ displays, they will also allow Apple to put the IR scanner, used for Face ID, behind the display. Moreover, some people familiar with the matter suspect that Apple will also move the selfie camera behind the screen without compromising quality.
