Over two years since launching its first over-ear headphones, Fairphone has a new version of its Fairbuds XL. The second-generation Fairbuds XL bring an updated design and new drivers, though the modular aspect remains.

The new 40mm dynamic drivers are backwards compatible with the original Fairbuds XL, meaning users with the older model can also enjoy the updated drivers and sound tuning. Fairphone will sell the left driver assembly for €61.95 and the right one for €39.9
