Apple’s FaceTime video calling service and Snap’s Snapchat have been banned in Russia, Bloomberg reports. The move comes as the country continues to block several major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and X.
In the report, Russian authorities alleged that FaceTime and Snapchat were being used to “organize and carry out terrorist acts” and to recruit individuals involved in such activities. The platforms were also reportedly linked to other criminal activities, including fraud.
