Supreme Court denies Google's request to pause Play Store changes while it appeals Epic case

Google has failed to convince the Supreme Court to block the injunction requiring the company to make major changes to the Play Store after it lost its case with Epic Games. The Verge and Reuters have reported that the Supreme Court has denied the company's request for a partial stay on the injunction while it prepares to appeal. In a tweet, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney said that developers "will be legally entitled to steer US Google Play users to out-of-app payments without fees, scare screens and friction" start
