Amazon is announcing a raft of new Echo devices specifically designed to empower its Alexa+ AI-infused home assistant. The company unveiled the new hardware at its September 2025 launch event, packed with a suite of advanced sensors, including microphones, custom silicon and cameras. Leading the pack is the Echo Dot Max, a compact speaker that Amazon hardware chief described as a the "most performant" speaker in its lineup.
