MediaTek confirms the Dimensity 9500's launch date and it's very close

Qualcomm is unveiling the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC on September 23, and the main competitor for this flagship chipset in the Android world will of course be MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9500. A rumor last month claimed it would be unveiled on September 22, and today MediaTek has finally confirmed the date. It is going to be announced on September 22 at a special event in China.

So the Dimensity 9500 will be presented one day before its main rival - this pretty much sums up how heated the competition
