The Sony Xperia 1 VII, introduced a few months ago with Android 15, is receiving the Android 16 update.
The screenshot of the update posted on Reddit reveals the update comes with firmware version 71.1.A.2.68 and requires a download of about 1.13GB for the Xperia 1 VII having model designation XQ-FS54 EU.

The screenshot doesn't include the changelog of the Android 16 update, with one Redditor saying the Android security patch level on the smartphone remains at August 2
