Huawei introduced the Mate 70 Pro back in November with a Kirin 9020 chipset and today the company introduced a somewhat confusing alternative version. Dubbed Premium Edition it will go on sale on March 5.
The name suggests an improved version, but in reality, it has an underclocked CPU and a lower price tag on the company store Vmall.
The listing did not actually mention the chip downgrade – we caught that in a separate Geekbench listing. The Huawei Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition has a model number
