Zelda boss explains why Breath of the Wild's Guardians and Sheikah tech disappeared

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes us back to the same Hyrule we were first introduced to in Breath of the Wild, albeit with a few tweaks - not least its airy sky islands and dark and sinister Depths. But while those inclusions expanded the map, there were some omissions as well. Most obviously, just where did all of that Sheikah tech, that was so instrumental to Breath of the... Read more ›

Assassin's Creed Mirage special move looks busted on purpose

Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed entry is all about stealth and subtlety, but main character Basim still gets a ridiculous special move. It's called Assassin's Focus, and it allows you to freeze time and paint a reticule over multiple enemies to teleport between them all and murder them in quick succession. It's like Red Dead Redemption's Quickdraw mode, except you're physically knifing people in the neck with every bullet. At the... Read more ›

Meta Quest 3 review impressions - one of VR gaming's best options

Head(sets) up, Readers. Due to a snafu with Meta's servers during the Quest 3 review window and a last minute embargo change, I've only been able to spend around five to six hours with the unit so far. This means the impressions below are based on those first few hours, rather than an extended play test with multiple titles. As you'll soon see, my initial thoughts are very positive but...
