Unity's controversial Runtime Fee policy was "rushed out", says report

A new report on Unity's recent fee changes claims the policy was "rushed out" and driven by Unity and IronSource's battle with rival tech company Applovin. One major mobile game publisher is said to have met with Unity's John Riccitiello after the policy announcement and said: "Fuck you, we're not paying". Alan Wake 2 New Game Plus promises increased difficulty and alternative narrative

Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy will add a New Game Plus mode to the game after it launches, which will add a harder difficulty mode and a new "alternative narrative". Payday 3 developer apologises for silence following disappointing launch, delayed patches

Developer Starbreeze has apologised to Payday 3 players for recently being "quiet", and admitted it was "not easy to communicate when we have not been able to offer any updates" on the game's delayed patches. Diablo 4's first expansion looks to be Lord of Hatred, datamine suggests

It looks like Diablo 4's first major expansion will be called Lord of Hatred, and focus on Prime Evil Mephisto. That's according to dataminers who have tapped into Blizzard's Technical Alpha build of version 2.0 on its private testing branch (thanks WccfTech). PlayStation 5 dashboard updated to show streamable games

Sony has added a new icon to the PlayStation 5 UI to indicate which games can be streamed. Cloud streaming of PS5 games was recently added for PS Plus Premium subscribers, along with existing PS4, PS3 and PS2 games.
