If you have played through Alan Wake 2, you will by no doubt be well aware of its musical number. In fact, even if you haven't played it, you may also be aware of this particular moment. Starfield's new PC patch delivers the game we should have had at launch

I think it's fair to say that Starfield launched in a poor state on PC in September, with no official DLSS or XeSS upscaling support, no HDR controls, an underwhelming graphics menu and weirdly poor performance - especially on Nvidia and Intel graphics cards. The latest Starfield beta on Steam looks to address a number of these issues, so we tested out the new version to see how the game... Read more ›

Super Mario RPG review - soothing role-playing goodness

Mario is asleep in bed. It's a lovely wooden bed with a warm blanket and fat pillows. The bedroom's a bit odd, though. The room is carved out of rock, and if you were to walk out the door you'd see that it's one of a handful of rooms built into the scrabbly face of a cliff. Something else is a bit odd too. As Mario sleeps, three ghostly figures... Read more ›

More people are playing Skyrim on Steam than Starfield

Starfield released a little over two months ago on PC and Xbox. However, despite a strong start which saw Starfield become the "biggest Bethesda game launch" of all time, things have tailed off a bit now. In fact, there are currently more people playing Bethesda's earlier RPG, Skyrim, over on Steam. At the time of writing, there are currently 1610 Steam users playing through 2011's Skyrim release, and 13,776 playing... Read more ›

Turok 3 remaster accidentally released early in Europe, as Nintendo misses last-minute delay

The new Turok 3 remaster has slipped out earlier than planned in Europe and Australia, following confusion over the game's recently-delayed launch date.
