Embracer has now laid off 8% of staff

Embracer has laid off 8 percent of its workforce as its restructuring programme reaches "mature stages". The company released its latest financial report today, stating its net sales increased by 4 percent, though this is largely thanks to its Tabletop Games and Entertainment divisions. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to get visual upgrades before launch

An update to the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo will improve the visual quality of Performance mode. The update is due 21st February and will add a section of the Junon area specifically for the demo, as well as this visual improvement which will also apply to the full game. Sony has record quarter but expects PlayStation 5 sales to decline
