With Switch 2 and presumably a new 3D Mario on the horizon, it's time for me to admit Super Mario Odyssey always felt a little weird

For a brief period, either in the 1950s or 1960s, Charles Schulz experimented with drawing adults in the backgrounds of Peanuts comic strips. What we've been playing - great escapes, unexpected ends, and Salem Socks

Hello and welcome back to our regular feature where we write a little bit about some of the games we've been playing this week. This time, we can barely get past the bloody Sims character creator again, let alone the house decoration part; we search around for another puzzle game to bake our noodles; and we unexpectedly find the end of Animal Crossing. Switch 2's reveal: what have we learned about its next-gen potential?

DF Direct Weekly arrives early - but with good cause. With Nintendo finally revealing the Switch 2, the Digital Foundry team spends a good hour discussing what we've learned from the two minute teaser and, equally, what is still to be revealed. The key question I've been thinking about is this: did we see a proper generational leap from the Mario Kart demo we saw compared to the existing Switch's... Read more ›
