The 7 planets of the TRAPPIST-1 system are identical — here’s what we can learn from them

Just 40 light-years from Earth, the TRAPPIST-1 system of planets is home to the largest family of Earth-like worlds known to astronomers. At least seven planets are known to orbit within the TRAPPIST-1 solar system. A new study shows these worlds have nearly identical densities — within just a few percent of each other. You need to rethink your customer experience for 2021 — here’s how I did it

As the CEO of an SME business, 2020 wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. The pandemic left us feeling like we’d had the light switched off and were spun around until we were dizzy. It wasn’t easy, but it looks like we survived. We weren’t the only ones, and most of our peers obviously felt the same trauma.  As a B2B business, everybody found themselves in the same boat rocking back and... Read more â€ș

What would an all-electric Lamborghini look like? Pretty rad!

What comes into your mind when you hear the word: Lamborghini? Bright yellow cars? Raucous V12 engines? Italian flare? Perhaps that scene from The Wolf of Wall Stree, when DiCaprio attempts to drive a white Countach whilst high as a kite? Maybe it’s all those things and more, but one thing won’t be on your mind: electric power. In 2019 Lamborghini showed off a little glimpse into its future with... Read more â€ș

How ‘gravitational waves’ will change astronomy as we know it

Supermassive objects such as black holes and neutron stars warp spacetime around them, and interactions between these bodies can result in the formation of gravitational waves, similar to ripples in a pond. However, these waves, postulated more than 100 years ago, cannot be seen directly like light or radio waves. Now, a new study by the North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) Physics Frontiers Center (PFC) has detected... Read more â€ș
